Learn to swim @ Decatur Central

MSD of Decatur Township Schools is an independent authorized provider of Starfish Swimming. Starfish Swimming is a nationally recognized swim instruction curriculum developed by the Starfish Aquatics Institute (SAI). Learn more about SAI at www.starfishaquatics.org.

The Starfish Swimming curriculum is designed for students ages 6 months old to adults. Benchmarks are established at each level in the program that combine both swimming and water safety skills. Students participate in experiential learning activities that allow them to explore the water in a creative and comfortable environment. Correct swimming techniques are taught from the very beginning, providing an easy transition to swim team.

At this time, MSD of Decatur Township only offers Group Swimming lessons for School Age children ages 6-14. As our staff continues to grow, we will begin growing our offering of additional programming, including Preschool age and Adult group lessons. Information will be added to our website as our program portfolio grows!
